Colcrete Eurodrill Rotary Percussive Systems are used in some of the toughest site conditions by the world’s leading geotechnical contractors.
Rotary percussive drilling is a Top Hammer casing advancing system used for drilling through tough ground conditions for applications such as rock anchoring. Drilling is typically performed using a Duplex system, where the casing is driven independently.
Rotary percussive casing is traditionally coupled together by sleeves or ‘nipples’ (pin-pin couplers).
We are able to make casing with a friction welded pin to box alternative, which is both stronger and less expensive.
However, we can offer either coupled or friction welded casing made from high tensile steel, to suit either preference.
